Asia Voyage provides its Business Partners access to
hotel descriptive content, availability and rates through
our XML Interface Services. The Partner obtains net
rates via this interface, marks-up the net rates, and
then collects the full amount from the customer, along
with any applicable taxes. At the time of booking, the
Partner pays Asia Voyage for the net rate, taxes and
fees only, and retains the mark-up. Asia Voyage then
takes care of the payment to each individual hotel.
Some of Partner Requirements
- The Partner must have their own mark-up engine
to take the Asia Voyage net rate, and apply the appropriate
mark-up to result in the retail price presented to
the consumer.
- The Partner must have an existing payment gateway
to process transactions and take credit card payments
from consumers.
- The Partner must supply a Partner credit card for
Asia Voyage to charge the net rate and taxes to at
the time of booking to cover hotel liabilities.
- The Partner is responsible for all first level
consumer support, and must integrate Asia Voyage booking
information into existing Partner customer service
systems, tools and processes.
- The Partner may have to contract directly with
some hotel suppliers in order to have the authorization
to act as the merchant of record when selling net
rate inventory.
- The Partner must have a Pseudo IATA Number or TIDS
number to enable properties to identify the specific
demand partner providing the reservation.
